SUNDAY NIGHT SLIDES
How was your week?
Wednesday saw the Sun and the Moon align on opposite sides of Earth, bringing strong opposing forces and reaching peak energy within the month, commonly known as the full moon phase.
This was a particularly special 'super' full moon as it coincided with lunar perigee (the moon’s closest point to Earth) making it closer than any other moon will be this year. And we won't see a larger or brighter one until the end of 2025.
If you didn't catch the supermoon but have been by the sea, you may have noticed the effect of a stronger gravitational pull in this orbit, producing extreme perigean spring tides.
Much like the dark moon pushes us away, into ourselves and contemplative, the full moon pulls our emotions to the surface, as it has done with the higher tides.
Upon reflection then, have you noticed a difference this week? I'd be interested to hear if you have or not, hit reply and let me know!
