SUNDAY NIGHT SLIDES
How'd you get on writing?
I struggled this week and definitely feeling it now we've reached the tail end. A welcomed day's rest tomorrow, thankfully, for which I've every intention to set clearer paths for the coming weeks, as the moon slowly illuminates from a dark, new moon, until its brightest exactly two weeks today.
Issue #10 – double figures!
A little milestone which makes it the perfect time for a long-overdue announcement that the Night Slides Print Shop is now open for orders. After months of sourcing and sampling, I've signed with the gold standard in photo print production and supply (based in the UK) who are able to print-on-demand and deliver all over Europe.
There's over 80 of my photos within 4 collections and another 40-50 to be added over the coming weeks, available in a variety of size prints starting at 4x6 inches up to A3 and slightly larger.
Take a look around and let me know which ones you fancy. If I had to choose, heh, here are a few personal favourites..
FEATURED SLIDES
Reflective — shop.nightslides.com
The sky sure put on a show with the setting sun whilst far out onto the sands that the dropping tide has made way for. Some welcomed entertainment on an cold early January evening.
Delicate — shop.nightslides.com
A deceivingly strong flower, crataegus monogyna (the common hawthorn) exposed to the elements in return for a stunning view back to Poole Harbour from the Obelisk on North Hill in the Dorset Purbecks.
Perspective — shop.nightslides.com
Looking up from the crystal clear River Arve running through Chamonix town at just over 1000m in altitude as the mid-winter sun starts to warm the overpowering peaks adding a splash of colour to the range.
ARTIST OF THE WEEK
Watercolor painting has been a side project of Johny's in between creating wave sculptures. He discovered it as a different and intriguing way to express his passion - depicting water with water. Support the artist by visiting Waves by Johny

🎧 NO DREAM by Jeff Rosenstock — open.spotify.com
Following news that Tony Hawk's releasing remakes of his Pro Skater game, this hectic new album release from this American punk-rock auteur will have you frothing for the familiar fast-beat anthems of early Millenia with a hit of nostalgia.
🔊 Zephyr by Grafix & Ruth Royall — open.spotify.com
Finishing with a big new DnB tune from Grafix, inspired by London Elektricity's Hospital podcast last week. Perfect summer sounds with vocals from the Svelte-voiced singer, Ruth Royall, a soulfulness inspired by the likes of Etta, Billie and Nina.
WORTH WATCHING
New from The North Face. As five of their sponsored climbing team headed to India’s beautiful Baspa Valley in search of adventure, big wall climbing and a new perspective on exploration. A real nice, slower, raw take on the exploration with fascintating commentary from the team throughout.
FINAL THOUGHTS 💭
From the Father of Stress and Nobel Peace Prize winner Hans Selye, who coined the term whilst studying the body's endocrine system (glands that secrete hormones) in Prague. During his studies, he observed that patients with various chronic illnesses like tuberculosis and cancer appeared to display a common set of symptoms that he attributed to what is now commonly called stress.
An ever-more important reason to offload any compounding stress that's ruminating as heavy thoughts in your mind and onto paper. And then 'clear your cache' with some of focused breathing.
