SUNDAY NIGHT SLIDES
Anger and fear are two of the most strongly felt emotions.
And we know that emotions are the force behind our decisions.
With an abundance of wrongdoings, injustices and polarising political views, amplified almost exclusively by mainstream media, being acutely aware of what frustrates and worries us is one of the most effective ways of determining what we value most.
And our values are the fuel to our energy.
So out of the following...
What frustrates you most, publicly?
That we've lost 60% of wildlife population in the last 40 years?
That the gender pay gap between men and women is +20%
That living costs are £583 more a month if you're disabled?
That fossil fuel emissions are irreversibly damaging climate?
That unemployment rates for BAME are double the norm?
That the police receive 100 domestic abuse calls per hour?
That suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 45?
What worries you most, personally?
That you can't seem to look after your physical health?
That you often spend more money than you earn?
That you'll be stuck in an unfulfilling job forever?
That you use drugs or alcohol as an escape from reality?
That you have trouble sustaining relationships?
That you'll be hurt or abused by someone close to you?
That you feel like you have no drive or purpose?
The answers to these questions are the fuel to value-based decision making that is the only energy force strong enough to override sub-conscious emotion-driven decisions – bad habits.
The Value Template
Use the following as examples and replace the brackets for what you value most, the reason why, and then what'll happen as a result.
I value {the wildlife ecosystem} because it {contributes to the health of our planet} so that {my children can live a free life}
I value {my physical health} because it {makes me feel better in myself} so that {I can play with my grandchildren pain-free}
I value {that men and women should be paid equally} because it {signifies a fair society} so that {toxic masculinity doesn't rule}
I value {financial security} because it {will alleviate my family's long term worries} so that {we can enjoy a comfortable life}
I value {the quality of life for disabled people} because it {gives them normality} so that {they can thrive instead of just survive}
I value {working on purposeful projects} because it {fills me energy each day} so that {I can have a positive impact on people}

A Halloween Full Moon Ahead
This week is the new and darkest moon, invisible to the naked eye, signifying a time for inner-reflection and focusing energy internally.
Time to spend alone, reconnecting to a deeper understanding of who you are and what you stand for. A time for alignment and balance, ready for the building energy up until the full moon which, would you believe, lands on Halloween night this year.
Spooky AF.
FEATURED SLIDE
WORTH WATCHING
"It is one of the greatest gifts we can give to ourselves, learning how to love ourselves. And what we will learn is that the amount of love, kindness and patience that we have for others is directly proportional to how much love, patience and kindness we have for ourselves because we cannot give others what we ourselves do not have."
