SUNDAY NIGHT SLIDES
Did you manage to get amongst it this week?
The week ahead is winding down to darkness and lower points of energy as the new moon approaches, arriving on Friday. Known as the waning phases – a transitional period – it's a time of self-reflection and letting go, as similarly the plants in crop fields will be withering and their seeds dispersing.
Making way for fresh starts.
One thing I'll be focusing more on this week is writing, personally, I really don't do it enough. Some of you may know (but for those who don't) I spent 3 years studying and practising mental health care. One of the most effective techniques to challenge harmful thoughts that embed themselves as false beliefs and then perpetuate negative behaviour is by writing them down and reading them back.
It sounds too simple but honestly, you'll discover things that you think and believe actually make no real sense when you put them down on paper. It ain't easy to do though, mind.
Let me know how it goes.

RECOMMENDED LISTENING
🎙️ The No Sleep Horror Podcast — open.spotify.com
Something a bit different this week. A dark series of horror stories with haunting atmospheric music to enhance the frightening tales and either scare you to sleep or keep you up shit-scared.
🎧 Tiny Indoor Fireworks by Biffy Clyro — open.spotify.com
Big new EP from the ever-energetic and anthemic Scottish rock band. Featuring the (probably) familiar 'Instant History' sandwiched by two new tracks that finish with the heavy, dramatic 'End of'.
🔊 A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip by Sparks — open.spotify.com
24th studio album?! Hailed as influencers to Joy Division, The Smiths and Nirvana. The typically tongue-in-cheek and melodically potent synth-pop twins 'Sparks' continue to set an example of how theatrical art-pop should sound. Play it loud!
